This Bible study devotional covers Jonah 4. In this passage, Jonah calls God’s mercy “evil,” and God sends a plant to confront Jonah’s hypocrisy. As always, we are committed to showing you how to see the good news of the Gospel in every passage of Scripture. In Jonah 4, we see that, like Jonah, we demand God’s mercy, thinking we deserve it while resenting God’s mercy towards our enemies. But the good news is that Jesus died only for sinners and enemies.
